Summer is in full swing at the Stillpoint Farm Mercantile!
NEW for this month – fresh potatoes! This were just dug and the flavor of fresh potatoes is so much better than ones that have been in storage for months. Come try our Yukon Golds, Kennebec, Red Skins, and Russets. Check our weekly postings for available produce. All of our produce is fresh and local – most picked on the Friday of the weekend. You won’t find bananas and avocados here – while fresh and healthy they aren’t grown locally.
Look for some new upcoming items this month.
The taste testing with Poppi’s Hot Sauces has been postponed as he is down a sales person. Stay tuned for when we may be able to get him here once he is fully staffed again. We will then have some of the hot sauces available in the store. In the meantime have you checked out the variety of spiced nuts from Max’s Spices? Come and try the Chiprikai Peanuts, Garlic Pistachios, Glazed Almonds, or Mesquite Mixed Nuts..
If you haven’t tried it yet, Angie has added a seeded rye bread and is working on a Sourdough, to her baked goods line. NEW – she got a bread slicer, so loaves are sliced and ready to use. Still made with fresh, hand ground flour. It goes great with a variety of our cheeses.
