We look forward to the fresh produce starting to come in May. It certainly is the month to start looking for strawberries and spring veggies such as lettuces, peas, radishes, spring onions, kale, collards, etc. We also are hoping to have some tomatoes in by the middle of the month.
Have you checked out the new fresh mushrooms from Inspiration Acres in Middletown? They are producing Oyster and Lions Mane mushrooms that are grown on sterilized substrate so are dirt free and ready to use. They are absolutely wonderful and flavorful!
We are also excited about an upcoming partnership with Moon Valley Farm. They are a local (Woodsboro) CSA that provides weekly boxes of fresh veggies. We are working with them to be a pickup spot for their boxes. That way you can get your veggies, meat, dairy, fresh baked goods, and beer all in one spot!
