It’s December already?!  What happened?!

I suppose the better question is “What’s happening?”.  And when it comes to the brewery side of things, I can answer that!

We are enjoying the heck out of our recent collaboration with Liquidity, Stake The Farm. This Maryland Common really hits the spot!

However, December weather has us thinking “boy I sure could use a nice big strong beer”.  And so we bring back our biggest, strongest lager – Baltic Porter (8.8% abv).  Smooth, rich and delicious!  This is coming right out of Harry and Ray’s secret stash. When it is gone, it is gone!

However, we’ve got plenty of porter and stout casks to keep things dark on the beer engine all season.

And for those with paler tastes, Green Farmer 25 is coming this month!  A play on the ol’ classic combination of cascade and chinook, but with a little red melanoidin malt from Bear Branch. This is a tasty one!

A new iteration of Maryland All Stars IPA is set to replace A NU START.  Tropical, fruity, delicious – and absolutely not hazy at all!

Being brewed this month are a couple of cool beers that will premiere in early 2024- including batch two of our Catoctin Heritage Vienna Lager featuring our Monocacy hop!

We’ve also come to greatly appreciate Chesapeake Malting’s new malted corn, so expect another cream ale or two down the line.  Maybe I’ll even throw a bit of this awesome malt into some unexpected places…

Stay frosty out there, folks!
