Open Hand Pasta & Sauce
We have added to the Open Hand products with a whole wheat pasta and Leek and Porcini sauce. This is in addition to the Spelt Fiorentini and Dried Campanelle along with Genovese Pesto or Charred tomato sauces. Fresh Basil won’t be available for a while yet but this Pesto sauce tastes like the basil was just picked Open Hand’s goal is to elevate the local food culture for conscientious consumers and producers. They source only the highest quality ingredients with a special emphasis on supporting local, sustainable farmers.
Beer Infused Chocolates
If you haven’t tried them yet Angie has been busy making chocolates with MHB beer infused filling. The egg-shaped ones would be perfect for Easter. And don’t forget the pups! Also new are freeze dried Pumpkin Puree dog treats. These have been taste tested and approved by Angie’s dog Toby.
Leicester Fleeces
Fiber folks – we have several washed Leicester Fleeces available, both white and colored for hand spinners or those looking to do fiber projects. The hand-woven lap robes and blankets made with wool from our sheep really are exceptional. They could be just the thing for a special gift for someone (or yourself!)
We hope to begin having early produce from Chestnut Creek in by the end of the month. Seeds have been sown and plants are growing (in a hoop house). We will put out posts as soon as we do.
